Last weekend aired the first episode of

The Last of Us

, the HBO series adapted from the famous video game of the same name, with Bella Ramsey and Pedro Pascal in the roles of Ellie and Joel.

An episode which, since then, has not failed to arouse debate among fans of this successful video game work, as had already been announced by the casting at the start of the project, and more particularly the choice of the young star of

Game of Thrones

.

Many had deplored the lack of resemblance between the heroine of the game and the actress who, then aged 17, had to endure a flood of criticism on the networks.

“It was the first time I had a negative reaction to something (like this),” Bella Ramsey recalled in a recent interview with The

New York Times

.

Boomerang thoughts

“There were times when I found it amusing.

“It was only recently that I accepted that I am Ellie, that I can do it and that I am a good actress.

But I'm going to think that for a few weeks and then I'm going to think I'm catastrophic again.
