The speech of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, a few days ago, about the reality of Emirates football, hit the heart of the truth and put points above the letters, after he diagnosed the disease and its symptoms that disrupted the football career, and caused a frightening regression and decline in terms of performance and results. Haven't seen it in many years.

His Highness spoke with regret about what our ball had reached in terms of a situation that worsened from one season to another, in light of generous support and continuous and uninterrupted spending, but the return was a weak outcome and a meager return, the results of which appeared clearly during our team's participation in the "Gulf 25".

There is no doubt that the personality of the national team is a reflection of the image and reality of work in the clubs, which suggests that there is a defect that struck it from the roots and its effects were reflected in the outputs in which the harvest is supposed to coincide with that support and giving that reaches the clubs and provides them with activity and vitality, but throughout the years of professionalism the policy continued. Work in the same way, after the teams directed their focus and efforts towards attracting elements from foreign players and citizens to strengthen their lines with the aim of competing locally or to remain in the safety circle in order to remove the pressures of the fans from them.

Therefore, the resentment of the decision-makers and the sports street behind them is justified in light of the succession of setbacks, as there must be a firm intervention that adjusts the balance of matters and returns them to the right direction, starting with the clubs that are the gateway to the teams and their vital artery, as it is not possible to overlook the negligence and negligence that harmed the youth and youth sector. Because of the focus on the first teams, as the case requires a decision to reconsider the number of foreign players and residents of clubs whose overall impact is poor compared to their number in each club;

Therefore, it is unreasonable to continue spending on this group and pampering it with high salaries and incentives, and in return the cubs, juniors and youth teams are deprived of their bonuses and their monthly allowances are delayed under the pretext of austerity and poor resources!

• The situation requires a decision to reconsider the number of foreign players and residents of clubs.
