[Explanation] In the picture, the mother and son playing and singing are Danzheng and his mother Genzang Zhuoma.

A month ago, they released a short video of guitar playing and singing "Night in Ulaanbaatar" on the short video platform. Within a few hours, the short video had exceeded 10 million views, received 300,000 likes, and nearly 20,000 comments.

"Fans" from all over the world left messages of support for the mother and son, including many overseas audiences.

[Explanation] It is understood that Dan is a student of Xi'an University of Technology and lives in Mangla Township, Guinan County, Hainan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province.

In December last year, Danzheng, who was studying at home, accidentally heard his mother humming softly while doing housework. The voice was pleasant, so he couldn't help but sit down with his mother, shot and released this video with his mobile phone.

[Explanation] Danzheng was surprised and pleasantly surprised by the sudden attention.

He immediately wanted his mother to sing more, so his father took the initiative to take over the camera.

Danzheng said that most of them sang original Tibetan songs, and my mother didn't know many of them. She came and went only a few songs. Some songs could only hum a few lines, and they couldn't even remember the lyrics and titles.

The location and time of shooting are very random, such as sitting by the iron stove at home, feeding sheep and grazing, or sitting directly on the grassland between grazing.

The guitar is an amateur and I don't play it very well.

My mother loves to sing, so I tried to help her a little bit, and it still played the role of (playing) the beat. I am also learning to play the guitar all the time.

[Explanation] Danzheng said that in his childhood memories, his mother was a reticent mother who was busy around the stove and dining table all day long, taking care of the lives of a family of more than a dozen people.

For forty years, his mother never stepped out of the grassland, and music was like a ray of light shining into ordinary days.

For them, under relatively harsh natural conditions, improving material life has exhausted most of the energy of the family.

During college, he has always insisted on working part-time in the school library. Even during the online class at home, he will work with his mother on the construction site in the county after school.

He longed for the outside world. He didn't want to return to his hometown after graduating from college, but he couldn't let go of his parents. Compared with his own wishes, he felt that he wanted to find his mother's musical dream stolen by life.

When I was young, my mother often sang to me to lull me to sleep.

She has a good voice and sings beautifully. She often sings to me.

When I want to sing, I will pick some songs that my mother sang to me when I was a child, and sing with my mother together.

[Explanation] With the increasing number of followers, some packaging planning teams threw "olive branches" to the mother and son.

Danzheng also occasionally took his mother to Xining, the provincial capital, to record songs.

He said that he hoped that more people would learn about the silent and nameless grassland in their hometown through their mother and child falling in love with traditional Tibetan culture.

[Explanation] The company often urges the mother and son to increase the frequency of recording to maintain the popularity.

But Genzang Zhuoma couldn't adapt to this fast pace, which also made Danzheng into distress.

He told reporters that a professional team can help her mother's singing be heard by more people, but if she changes her natural simplicity for this purpose, it will violate the original intention of making the video, and people who like them don't want to see it.

When I sing, I like to close my eyes because I can concentrate. The singing is grassland, and I think of the grassland. The singing is mother, and I think of mother.

[Explanation] One winter afternoon, the mother and son sat next to the sheep as in the past, letting the singing echo in the grassland where they depended on each other.

A tactful song, Genzang Dolma sat on the hillside, sang from an innocent girl to a weather-beaten mother, the same is the wind passing through the wilderness, mixed with bitterness and tenderness, leaving a footnote of time on her body .
