The media recently circulated news of a preparatory meeting for the so-called "Negev Forum" in the UAE capital, Abu Dhabi, and was attended by about 150 people representing the six countries participating in the forum, the UAE, Bahrain, Morocco, Egypt, the United States and the Zionist entity.

According to the media, aspects of cooperation between these countries were discussed in several areas, primarily security, intelligence and economy, in addition to water and agriculture. The media also confirmed the success of the Zionist delegation in removing the Palestinian issue from the discussion table, given that the forum is not dedicated to discussing political files.

Whether the Zionist delegation succeeded in that or not, the reality of the forum’s work and its development confirms the fact that the Arab delegations are submissive to the Zionist vision of the Palestinian issue. In 2002, the Arabs officially adopted the Arab initiative, which was an initiative from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia presented by the Saudi Crown Prince at the time, Prince Abdullah bin Abdulaziz.

One of the most important things that the Arabs agreed upon at the time was that they would not take any step in the direction of normalization with Israel before resolving the Arab-Zionist conflict and returning rights to their owners.

It is true that the Prime Minister of the entity at the time, Sharon, confirmed that the Arab initiative is not worth the ink with which it was written and thrown into the trash. However, the successive meetings of the forum and the keenness to expand it each time at the level of areas of cooperation and the countries that can join it, except of course the owners of the issue from The Palestinians, is a coup against the initiative of the Arabs themselves.

Unfortunately, the Zionists have memorized the lesson well, since the Arabs, since the establishment of the entity, have been raising “sounding” slogans and clinging to them for a period of time, then soon giving up on them and surrendering to the Zionist position and the American will behind it, and so on over the course of decades of conflict, until we reached this shameful station called The Negev Forum, which has made normalization with the entity, or rather its integration into the region, the region's strategic goal and the base upon which alliances are built and national interests are valued.

The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs said, in a statement on its website, that it considers these meetings a continuation of what was agreed upon during the ministerial meeting held in March 2022 in the Negev, as the forum aims to enhance cooperation between countries and achieve the interests of the peoples of the region, including the Palestinian people. .

Strange as these statements, in which some claim their concern for the Palestinian people and their interests, at a time when alliance and cooperation are taking place with their staunch enemies, who announces openly during the day about his plans to annex the Palestinian lands, Judaize Jerusalem and control Al-Aqsa Mosque, publishes his plans to kill, displace, liquidate Palestinian prisoners, and write off the refugee file They call on all occasions “death to the Arabs” and declare their contempt for international law and its institutions, as their chief Netanyahu stated after the General Assembly’s decision to go to the International Court of Justice to request a fatwa on the reality of the occupation and the fact that it effectively annexed the Palestinian lands and its racist legal system.

The first meeting of the Forum was held in March 2022 on our occupied Palestinian lands in the Negev, under the previous Zionist government, which tried to present itself to the world as a "moderate" government, although the year 2022 in which it ruled was the bloodiest since 2005, when it was killed More than 230 innocent Palestinians were killed, and the red lines in Al-Aqsa Mosque were crossed in an unprecedented manner since 1967.

But what is the justification or logic behind calling for the preparatory meeting for the Negev Forum 2 with this momentum and expansion under a fascist government composed of a group of terrorists and racists, even by the standards of the West and even the occupation itself? What do we expect from such activities?

Either the assembled Arab leaders do not read this Zionist reality and its dangerous repercussions, not only on the Palestinian cause, but also on security and stability in the region and the world, which motivated countries around the world, including the entity’s strongest ally, America, to raise their voice in all forums to warn against this fascist government and its policies. .

As for the second option, it is that the Arab leaderships are well aware of these transformations, but they put the Palestinians and their cause behind them, and consider that their imaginary “national interests” take precedence over anything else, even if it is Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque, and even if it constitutes a coup against an initiative that the Arabs unanimously agreed upon at the time. Although we consider it not the minimum for our Palestinian ambitions and aspirations.

The Zionist entity headed towards the new wave of normalization with the region after it failed to achieve its strategic goal of containing the "Palestinian problem" and had difficulty digesting its repercussions, as it tried by all means, the most brutal, to get rid of the Palestinians or subject them to its control.

Despite the passage of decades since the confrontation, our people, 100 years after the confrontation with the Zionist project, still refuses to submit, resists with all strength and vigor, and is ready to sacrifice at all costs for the sake of complete freedom and a full return. Martyrs on the altar of freedom, and most of them were not moved by parties or organizations, but rather by individual initiatives that reflect the amount of anger and longing for freedom stored in this people.

At the same time, the entity, after decades of demographically failed confrontation, has exhausted most of its human resources around the world. Indeed, many reports speak of an increase in the desire for reverse migration and the acquisition of another nationality as a precaution for the future in light of the growing concern about the future of the entity with the rise of the fascist right, where The entity reached an internal crossroads over the state's identity with the arrival of the extreme right to power, and their attempt to create a "Sharia state" and blow up the foundations on which the state was built in the "Declaration of Independence", which was the most important justification for attracting Jews around the world and providing unlimited Western support for the entity.

So the entity is living in a strategic dilemma that threatens its existence and its ability to continue, hence the idea of “normalization” with the region to get out of its existential crisis, so that the countries of the region help it float the “Palestinian problem” in major contexts, after redefining the region, friends and enemies, interests and values, on new grounds.

Hence, the claim that one of the goals of these agreements is to serve the Palestinian people and their cause, unfortunately, is incorrect and contains a lot of fraud. Rather, they expose the Palestinian cause and rights to severe danger, at Arab hands.

This is not evidenced by the entity's representatives' insistence on refusing to discuss the political file of the problem within the framework of the forum.

Accordingly, it is sufficient to sell illusions and market the mirage. The principle is that the Arabs refuse the participation of the entity and its representatives in any activity, of any kind, until it acquiesces to the Palestinian demands for freedom, independence and return.
