The second edition of the "Hatta Cultural Nights", which was held for 12 days, and its curtains finally closed, was a great success, during which visitors to the region were able to discover the charm and aesthetics of folk arts, and the details of Emirati customs and traditions, through the variety of events, activities and cultural experiences presented by the Culture Authority. and Arts in Dubai (Dubai Culture), throughout the festival, which received more than 28,000 visitors from all over the country, which reflects the authority's keenness to celebrate the Emirati heritage and introduce the masterpieces of local heritage.

Acting Director of the Department of Heritage Sites, Maryam Dhaen Al Tamimi, said: “(Hatta Cultural Nights) shone with its rich activities, in which it shed light on the details of life in the Hatta region, our authentic customs and traditions, and the importance of human communication, as it contributed to highlighting our cultural heritage and our national identity in front of the audience. other cultures”, and noted that the “Hatta Cultural Nights” captured the satisfaction and happiness of visitors.

Al-Tamimi said: “The festival attracted more than 28,000 visitors throughout its organization, who are lovers of heritage, as the number on the closing day only reached about 3,000 visitors, which confirms the importance of the event’s various events and activities, which enabled it to reserve a prominent place on Dubai’s annual agenda.” This contributes to enhancing the strength of cultural tourism in the emirate as a vital tributary to the local economy. At the same time, the festival is known for the various cultural and tourism potentials and components of the Hatta region.

Dubai Culture was keen to organize and operate the second edition of the Hatta Cultural Nights, which was hosted by the Hatta Heritage Village, in cooperation with the people of Hatta, in a move aimed at supporting families and creative talents in the region, and contributing to attracting them and developing their various skills.

At a time when the atmosphere of entertainment enveloped the "Hatta Cultural Nights", it was embodied in the Emirati folk games corner, which witnessed the presentation of a group of heritage competitions, cultural activities, and training workshops aimed at enriching children's experiences and teaching them the methods and secrets of some handicrafts.
