"When the national flag is raised, the longing for morning glow, hard-working people embrace the light again..." With the melodious melody of "Beijing Morning Song", on the evening of January 17, Beijing Federation of Literary and Art Circles and Beijing Musicians Association Sponsored and undertaken by Beijing Variety Expo Cultural Exchange Co., Ltd., the "Nineteenth Beijing New Year Concert and 'Ten Years of Music Appreciation' Exhibition of Original Works by Beijing Musicians Association" kicked off in the Zhongshan Park Concert Hall.
The young conductor Xiao Chao led the China Film Orchestra, joined hands with the Beijing Musicians Association Choir, and together with singers Ding Yi, Chen Suwei, Ruan Yuqun, Li Shuang, Huang Xunguo, Mao Yihan, etc., brought the audience music organized by the Beijing Musicians Association for nearly ten years. 15 excellent works created by artists who went deep into their lives.
The concert is divided into two parts: "Colorful Life" and "Brilliant Beijing".
In the first part, "Colorful Life", it includes not only works that are close to the lives of ordinary people, but also a large-scale symphonic and vocal divertimento "South-North Water Diagram" that reflects major events in the national economy and people's livelihood.
In the second part of the concert, "Beautiful Beijing", the songs composed around the construction of the Beijing Cultural Center and major events that took place were selected.
Since 2012, the Beijing Music Association has organized the creation and promotion of newcomers and new works in a planned way every year. In the past ten years, it has created five original symphonic vocal suites, including 69 songs, two original symphonies, including 15 instrumental works, and many reflections. The 15 works performed at this Spring Festival Concert are extracted from these original works, reflecting the excellent works created by the Beijing Musicians Association in the past ten years to organize songwriters to go deep into the front line of life and take root among the people.

"Beijing New Year's Concert" is a branded concert during the Spring Festival in the capital. Since 2005, it has been held at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing every year before the Spring Festival. It has been successfully held for 16 sessions.
On the eve of the Spring Festival in 2021 and 2022, due to the epidemic, the organizers changed the 17th and 18th sessions to offline recording and online live broadcast, with a total of nearly two million viewers.
The 19th Beijing New Year Concert will continue to be held in the form of reports and performances of original and innovative works by the Beijing Musicians Association in the past ten years.
There were almost no empty seats at the concert that night, and the audience watched the performance with great enthusiasm, and the audience would give warm applause between the performances.
