, has disappeared in the mountains of southern California, multiple media have reported, citing local authorities.

The 65-year-old wife of the British artist reported him missing on Friday night, January 13,

"From what I understand, he left sometime that day for a hike and when he didn't return, his family reported him missing," Gloria Huerta, a spokeswoman for the San Bernardino Sheriff's Department, told the news agency.
