Algeria: A water heater kills a family of 6, and neighbors discover the bodies after they have rotted

6 people from one family died in the eastern suburbs of the Algerian capital, as a result of poisoning with carbon monoxide gas emitted from the water heater.

And the French News Agency (AFP), quoting an Algerian official, said that the concerned authorities evacuated 6 bodies of people from the same family, namely the father, mother and four children.

He added that the bodies were in the stage of putrefaction, and according to the testimony of the neighbors, family members had not appeared for at least four days.

And 27 people have died in Algeria as a result of carbon monoxide poisoning since the beginning of this year, including 17 on one day last week.
