Invited on the BFMTV set on Wednesday January 18, Michel Sardou spoke about the distribution of household chores in the couple.

The 75-year-old singer, who does not want to become a "deconstructed man", assumes to "do nothing" at home.

Michel Sardou is never afraid to cause controversy.

Proof of this is that the 75-year-old singer said Wednesday, January 18, in a relaxed way, that he “did nothing at all” at home.

"I don't vacuum. I don't do anything at all," he explained to Alain Marschall and Olivier Truchot on the BFMTV set.

"Why do you want us to do what women do?"

The interpreter of

then assured that his wife took care of vacuuming.

“My wife does it!”, he exclaimed, before specifying that his wife was being helped by a cleaning lady.

The singer, he does not feel concerned with household chores.

“Why do you want us to do what women do?” he wondered.

Michel Sardou only likes to cook, and again "not every day", but "for holiday meals".

"The brutality is intolerable"

Despite his outdated remarks on the distribution of household chores, Michel Sardou says he is in favor of gender equality.

"The brutality is intolerable (...) That women defend themselves, have the same rights as men, feel free, can walk in the street without getting their hands on their ass, yes!", declared the singer, who will begin his farewell tour in October 2023.
