Rigoberta Bandini: "My letters are not to be carved in stone and that it be a manuscript of humanity"
Alba Reche: "Romantic love must be dismantled as it was understood until now"
As if to say, they have just been born and are already reaping fans at a devilish pace.
Five months on social networks leave them with 12 million views, 120,000 followers on Instagram and 40,000 on Tiktok.
Ella Sola's secret?
The simplicity, both of the visual proposal
-Eva Menéndez
and
Albert Solà
in an American shot looking at the camera-, and of the musical one: ultra-melodic versions in Spanish of fragments of musical themes that reach their hearts (and with those they reach).

There is life before Eva Sola
Far from being a
couple of beginners
that starts, improvisation goes-improvisation comes, an account on social networks to see what happens, those who play here already have an expert backpack on their backs.
Albert, with a long career as a producer, composer and musician, is common to see him accompanying artists like
Leo Rizzi
or
Beth
in his live shows.
Eva
for her part is a composer, singer and pianist who has given voice to shows and toured stages with different musical groups.
Last year they met at some concerts and decided to create their own project.

As in all duets, the symmetry is a chimera.
And in Eva Sola the epicenter -it feels, Albert- is Eva, which not only means a voice, but also a presence between fresh and tender, always with her impeccable long hair, as central as her almost permanent smile (have you tried sing without stopping to smile? Telita).
Albert Solà and Eva Menéndez, on a recent trip to the United States.
Born 28 years ago in Girona and raised in San Cugat del Vallés and Barcelona, Eva Menéndez has been singing since she was a little girl.
Come on, like practically all singers, who apparently come to life giving clues.
"My family has always been very musical and artistic, although no one is professionally dedicated to it. They also enrolled me in ballet, but I gave it up because what I wanted was to learn music, so I started piano at the conservatory."
And now, the singular.
Turns out, Eva "hated the piano," but the piano didn't hate her, so "I started winning composition contests at music school, and I found I loved singing my songs in public. I've been writing
autobiographical songs
ever since." as
therapy
, but since I don't have any professional relationship with music, I study another career, although I continue to make music and have several groups with friends".
What are those autobiographical songs about and how do they help you? Making songs is a way of channeling the vital experiences I have, of understanding life and expressing my emotions and reflections.
I have had moments in which I have felt something very intensely and the songs have come to me alone as if the song fell on me in a lightning bolt.
In others, they arise after reflecting a lot on a specific topic.
In any case, composing songs helps to order ideas and see all experiences, good or bad, with a poetic filter.
When something bad happens to me I think: a good song will come from here.
Studying at the Taller de Músics in Barcelona and singing along with jazz and flamenco teachers was a turning point in his life.
After his time there, he released his first EP, 'Kaué & Ricka' and did "many weddings and events, as well as concerts in jazz venues in Barcelona such as Harlem".
She until one day she met Albert Solà, who had helped her produce her EP "and I told her that she wanted to do a gig with my songs and if she could accompany me".
That gig was canceled due to a
tropical storm,
and the couple managed to do another one in a bar, where they both experienced their musical crush and the Eva Sola project was born, whose landing on social networks was providential.
"It has been an unlikely year for us. And we are clear that next year we want to continue building this little house together so that it is a refuge for everyone, always singing and playing from love and affection," the couple said in their last post. on TikTok of the year.
As of February they will begin to release their first singles of
their own compositions,
so to speak, without the 'safety net' that re-singing and tweaking a song that has previously been successful can provide.
Won't it make you a little dizzy?
"We started from scratch in social networks and we started the versions to create a community to whom to present our songs when we launched them. We expected a gradual and slow process. If you told me six months ago that we were going to show our songs to all these people, no I would have believed it at all. Both Albert and I know how difficult it is to achieve this due to the number of factors that influence that you cannot control, for which we are very grateful and everything that comes will be a gift. But yes, I hope people like the songs and we can continue connecting so much, I hope so, because we have reached very warm people".
The networks are also 'treacherous', one day you go up, another you go down... how do you manage that emotionally?
Absolutely, we have discussed it many times with Albert.
The key is not to take anything for granted, focus on appreciating what you have and be grateful, focus on enjoying the present and the process, and put thoughts of the future away.
It is also important not to look only at the number of followers or
likes
you have, but at the quality of the interactions.
We have received precious messages from many people, and this fills us much more than the number of followers we may have.
On the other hand, about the
haters,
understand that there are many people who project their worst version on the networks and vent or use your video or photo to express their opinion, often loaded with their fears and insecurities.
These comments have more to do with who they are than with you, so it's best not to take it personally and stay focused on what you do.
Both in networks and in the music industry, as it currently stands, resilience is key.
The musical offer is gigantic and getting there is very difficult.
What do you think Eva Sola has that the others don't have, what niche do you come to fill? Good question, what has been repeated the most in the comments and DMs has been that we bring peace.
We are going to make electronic romanticism, songs that are a caress for the soul and that calm you down after a 'shitty' day.
