Those hidden in the mattresses of the heart, between the pages of old novels, private diaries, on the letters of pink scraps, above the evening pillow and bedtime wishes, and in the hopes that have not yet been tested by failure and disappointments.
Those hidden in perfume bottles, and among the folds of clothes and gifts that celebrate those coming from the world of childhood.
Those that appear during the day in small mirrors, and dance with the rays of the setting sun on the edge of rivers, and are drawn by tender hands on the sands of summer resorts.
Those that do not recognize the logic of things or the speech of the mind, and do not hear the voice of the impossible, and do not allow anything but what is in accordance with the desires of the soul and the happiness of the heart.
Those that open their arms to life without fear or counting for failure, those that see the way as one without options or alternatives, those that want to race against time, shorten the present, and live in a future whose time has not yet come.
That complete picture in the imagination, and the bright and beautiful colors that do not accept obliteration or decrease, and the happiness that is supposed to last without disturbances.
Those who shine at all times, who are resistant to breaking or frustration, who are able to overcome difficulties and overcome pitfalls.
Those that create from nothing a thousand possible, and live in a special world and the world far from reality and from sorrows and disappointment.
Those that are filled with people’s need, material sufficiency, raging love that does not rest, practical success, a happy marriage in the coming days, and smart, noble children.
Those that reach the limit of the sky in search of glory, fame and reputation, and do not recognize differences, rules, traditions and customs.
These are the dreams of young girls, endless aspirations, passion for life, and a desire for it without judgment or rationality, wild dreams that need calming and correction from the parents in order to descend from the heights of imagination to a reality open to many choices, possibilities of success and failure, happiness and unhappiness, and all things and their opposites.
The dreams of the girls of the third millennium are fundamentally different from what we mothers dreamed of when we were at their age. Thus, change and development are the year and feature of life, but those dreams should never go beyond the rules of sound education and a normal personality that knows its limits, adheres to its goals as long as they are legitimate, and does not exceed the controls Religious and moral, and one of the best means for that is open dialogue, which appreciates the difference in age, experience, and openness to a world and cultures that are completely different from ours.
The girls of today are the children of yesterday, the young women of the near future, and the mothers of the future. The joy and comfort of homes, and their little dreams are part of their innate formation. They should never be an object of criticism or ridicule, but must be met with containment, awareness and persuasion.
