An explosive device exploded in front of a business building in the northwest of the Swedish capital early Wednesday morning, and on Tuesday there was an explosion in front of a restaurant in the central district of Södermalm.
The police have launched an investigation and no one was injured in either case.

According to the police, there have been nine explosions across the country this year alone.
A spokesman for the Stockholm police spoke on Wednesday of a "worrying development".
Last year there were 90 explosions in Sweden, including 31 in the Stockholm region alone.
The number of explosions in Sweden was also high in previous years.

90 percent of explosives incidents go unsolved
The incidents are attributed to gang crime by Swedish experts.
Accordingly, the gangs are increasingly violent and do not shy away from explosive attacks.
Homemade explosive devices or hand grenades, most of which come from the area of the former Soviet Union, are mainly used.
However, the authors usually remain unknown.
According to the newspaper "Svenska Dagbladet", 90 percent of all explosive incidents remained unsolved.

The government of Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson, which is tolerated by the right-wing populist Sweden Democrats, has described gang crime as Sweden's biggest problem and promised a paradigm shift.
In a controversial package of measures, she announced that she would examine various plans to fight gang crime, including double sentences for gang members, deportation of gang members even if they were not guilty of crimes, and the abolition of reduced sentences for people under 18.
The plans have been sharply criticized by human rights organizations.
