A woman was stabbed to death by a man on the street near JR Hakata Station in Fukuoka on the 16th, and a security camera near the scene captured a man walking alongside the woman, believed to be the victim, just before the incident. This is what I learned from interviews with investigators.

Police are investigating the whereabouts of the woman, as it may be a former partner who consulted about damage such as haunting.

On the night of the 16th, Miki Kawano (then 38), a company employee in Nakagawa City, Fukuoka Prefecture, was stabbed to death by a man on the street near JR Hakata Station in Hakata Ward, Fukuoka City. We are looking for a man in his 50s.

During the subsequent investigation, the police found out from interviews with investigative officials that a man walking alongside a woman who is believed to be Mr. Kawano while holding an umbrella on the sidewalk just before the incident was captured on a security camera near the scene.

According to investigative sources, Kawano had previously consulted with his ex-girlfriend about the damage he had suffered, and the police had issued a "prohibition order" to stalk him based on the stalker control law.

The police are investigating the whereabouts of the former partner, as it is possible that the former partner was caught on the security camera because the whereabouts of the former partner are unknown.
