More than 3,800 people eligible for make-up exams, the highest number ever

With the spread of the new coronavirus, the number of people who were eligible for supplementary examinations for the common university entrance exams held this month has more than doubled from last year, reaching a record high of over 3,800.



More than 510,000 people applied for the third university entrance common test this year, and the main test was held on the 14th and 15th of this month.



According to the University Entrance Examination Center, as of the 18th, the number of people eligible for supplementary examinations was 3,557 for reasons such as illness and injury, including infection with the new coronavirus, and those who became close contacts or were affected by accidents on public transportation. There are 332 people who have received it, and the total is 3889 people.



Compared to last year, which was the most common year-to-date, it has more than doubled, making it the highest number ever.



The University Entrance Examination Center will announce a detailed breakdown of new corona infections, etc. on the 25th of next week.
