Two girls brutally beat up a 14-year-old at the Rastatt train station and seriously injured them.

It was still unclear on Wednesday morning how the victim was doing.

The police only became aware of the crime last Saturday evening on Monday after a video of it had been circulated on social media.

The disturbing footage shows the 14-year-old being pushed to the ground and the two girls beating her and kicking her head and body multiple times.

According to the police, the attackers injured the girl so badly that the 14-year-old had to be hospitalized.

The two alleged perpetrators have since been identified.

You must expect criminal charges for dangerous bodily harm.

Both the victim and the suspect are already known to the police.

According to the police, neither the surrounding witnesses nor the passengers on the trains in the station tried to intervene and help the girl.

No one called the police either.

Instead, the incident was filmed and shared on social networks.

The police are evaluating the recordings and determining, among other things, whether there has been a failure to provide assistance or whether the personal rights of the people pictured have been violated, the statement said.

In the days before the attack at the Rastatt train station, the girls had already clashed in Gaggenau (Rastatt district) and Bietigheim.

There have also been provocations, disputes and physical altercations.
