According to the police, the deceased was confirmed to be Miki Kawano (38), a company employee in Nakagawa City, Fukuoka Prefecture.
The man who fled was said to be in his 30s to 50s, dressed in dark clothes, carrying a bag, and carrying something like a kitchen knife.
Also, from eyewitness information, it seems that he stabbed him multiple times, and even after Mr. Kawano fell down, he was on top of him and held him down so that he could not move.
Police suspect that the man had a strong murderous intent, and are investigating the possibility that he may have met Kawano.
