Duck sleeves from the Le Gaulois brand have been recalled since Monday, due to the detection of the "Listeria monocytogenes" germ.

The product was marketed from December 23 to 30 in the Carrefour Market, Francap, E. Leclerc and Auchan Luxembourg brands.

The meat was packaged in a tray under film.

The batch concerned bears the number 0252031462 and the barcode 3266980006587, for a consumption limit date set at December 30, 2022.

“Listeriosis is a disease which can be serious and whose incubation period can go up to eight weeks”, specifies the reminder sheet.

It is therefore recommended not to eat the duck (if it has been frozen) and to destroy it or bring it back to the point of sale for reimbursement.
