  Walking into the exhibition hall, there are dazzling exhibits such as gold, silver and jade, embroidery and cross-stitching, ceramics and wood carvings.

Each exhibit is rich in strong regional characteristics. From texture, color to ornamentation and shape, it tells the profound connotation of Hunan's local auspicious art and awakens the audience's daily memory of traditional culture.

For example, on the eaves of the door embroidered with red silk in the Qing Dynasty, "Kirin Sends a Child", the child riding a unicorn wears an official hat, holds a sheng in his right hand, and a laurel in his left.

Because "sheng" and "sheng" are homophonic, "gui" and "gui" are homophonic, which embodies the wish of the people to pray for the early birth of noble sons and virtuous descendants.

Most of the exhibits are daily necessities created or widely used and accepted by ordinary people in Hunan, spanning from the Tang Dynasty to modern times.
