However, the case was held at the Fukuoka District Court, where the father pleaded not guilty.

Masanori Jokei (27), an unemployed man from Tagawa City, assaulted his third son, Yuima (1 year old at the time) at his home five years ago by firing numerous airgun rounds at point-blank range. He is accused of causing injury and abandoning a person in charge of protection and causing death by letting him die without receiving necessary medical treatment while recognizing that he was injured.



On the 16th, the first trial was held at the Fukuoka District Court, and the defendant said, "No," denied the indictment, and claimed innocence.



After this, the prosecution said, ``The defendant shot a bullet with an air gun at a child who was thin and weak and could not move. was,” he claimed.



On the other hand, the defense argued innocence, saying, ``The defendant did not commit violence, and he did not recognize that he needed protection for the crime of abandoning the person in charge of protection.''



In this case, the 27-year-old mother was also accused of abandoning the person responsible for protection to death, and has already been sentenced to eight years in prison.
