The "Parcoursup" bac +3 version is launched.

The platform desired by the Ministry of Higher Education, which must reduce the tensions between supply and demand at the university for a master's degree, is called "my master's degree".

It will be put online on February 1 and students will be able to submit their application from March 22 until April 18.

The admission of candidates will be from June 23 to July 21.

For several years, hundreds of students who have completed their three years of license have not found any faculty to welcome them in order to continue their university course, hence the need to better guide them.

Through this new platform, each candidate will be able to register their wishes and the establishments will examine the files before retaining some and refusing others.

Like Parcoursup for entry into higher education, then it is up to the student to accept or not the proposals made to him.

Facilitate "the connection between candidates and the offer"

When the application phase opens, requests can be made "from a common file, out of 15 masters in classical training and 15 masters in work-study training", the ministry said on Friday in a press release.

Applications "will not be prioritized by applicants, so that students do not censor themselves and keep control throughout the admissions process," he said.

The file review process "will be based, as today, on the assessment of the candidates' project, their motivation, their background and the transcripts".

The ministry welcomes the fact that “for the first time, there will be a single platform in France for consulting all the national master's degree training offers and applying there”.

It is the result of consultation with organizations representing students and establishments.

"There is no algorithm or decision support tools for training: monmaster.gouv.fr is nothing more than a platform facilitating the connection between candidates and the offer master's degree", continues the ministry.

In the coming years, new master's courses should be added to enrich the platform.
