At a JR station in Tokyo, it was found that a station staff member repeatedly made sexual remarks to a visually impaired woman who requested guidance.

JR East is considering disposing of the station staff, saying, ``We sincerely apologize and provide thorough guidance.''

According to JR East, from March last year to this month, a visually impaired woman using a station in Tokyo asked for help in getting on and off a train, and the same male station staff repeatedly made sexual remarks. It means that there was a complaint that it was done.

Specifically, in addition to saying, "Isn't your chest heavy? Shall I carry it?" It means that there was also a remark.

On the 11th, when JR East conducted an interview after receiving a complaint from the woman, the station staff acknowledged the facts and said, ``I escalated because I thought we had become friends.'' We are considering disposing of it.

JR East commented, ``I sincerely apologize to the customers who felt uncomfortable.

Jun Miyagawa, executive director of the Tokyo Metropolitan Welfare Association for the Blind, who was consulted by the woman, said, "Guidance by station staff is a service that can be said to be a lifeline for visually impaired people, and this kind of thing should never happen."
