It was the passage not to be missed!

French artist JR set up his photobooth near Place Bellecour for an afternoon on Wednesday.

From 12 p.m. to 6 p.m., several hundred curious men and women gathered in front of the small truck to have their picture taken.

The portraits printed in large format were then stuck on the facade of the Bullukian Foundation.

A committed artist, JR whose real name is Jean René, has been traveling the world since 2011 to photograph citizens.

With his black and white photos, his polka dot background, the man wants to "change the world" by associating the portraits of the volunteers with committed themes.

Video demonstration.
