It is natural for the reaction of the sports street to come, angry and harsh, after the successive defeat of our team in front of Bahrain and Kuwait, how not?

Hopes were attached to a different start and a different emergence in form and action to harvest the first fruits and compensate for the past dry years, according to the expected outputs of the methodology and the vision that was punctuated by promises and dreams of a new one that satisfies and makes everyone happy.

We left for Basra with a dream of winning the cup and out of competition for it, just as I wanted it to be also a baseline for the national team to begin the journey of renewal and launch through it, after three years of trying and experimenting with different training schools and many groups of players who came and left like others, but that did not help in The making of identity, and the inability to form the nucleus of stability upon which the pillars of the national team are based, as we are still searching for our absent self in all tournaments after attending them became honorary.

The place here is not to list the reasons or review the causes of failure and failure that the young know before the old, and it is not likewise to flog and unload charges of anger in the coach and players, as the masses are tired of returning their cylinder at every occasion and we are also tired of the discussion and analysis that takes place in the same episode, until it has become like hanging. Which some say when mourning over the ruins of the past, just as others throw volleys of accusation in every direction, looking for a scapegoat to bear the burden of failure.

But let's go back to the book of the recent years, whose arena was marred by confusion, controversy, and disagreement between the parties to the game, until its last chapters became a stage of death for our whites and the end of a generation that lined the best journeys of brilliance and harvest in the various fields that it fought, from the Gulf Cup to the Masters and ending with the Olympics.

Let us ask ourselves now, how did this integrated system disintegrate and fall?

And why did a golden generation disperse and end so quickly after we lived with it the most beautiful and brilliant period in the history of the national team?

Isn't the one who is crying now the one who attacked and criticized the national team in the harshest terms at that time?

Don't we remember the deceptive vocabulary and directed dialogues that shook the branch of confidence and cracked the wall of the relationship between the coach and his players at the time?

Do we then remember what happened in terms of apathy and chaos within the national team and how it contributed to the collapse of that work and achievement?

Yes, there is a defect in the current system and there are shortcomings in the roles, but there are those who escape from responsibility, hiding behind the veil of betrayal, excuses and circumstances, although what happens to Emirates football is the responsibility of everyone and they share its responsibility without exception!

• What happens to Emirates football is the responsibility of everyone, without exception.
