Mello artist Haakon Pedersen is dead - he was 64 years old

Haakon Pedersen was born in Norway but lived in Sweden for a long time, where he worked as a music teacher at a high school.

During the 80s, he participated twice in Melodifestivalen.

The first time with "Bang, an explosion" with which he came in fourth place, the second time with the duet "Nattens drottning" which he performed with Elisabeth Berg and finished with fifth place.

He became perhaps best known for having sung the Swedish, troll-friendly, leitmotifs to, among other things, "Bumbibjörnarna" and "Piff och puff - rädningspatrullen".

Haakon Pedersen was 64 years old, the cause of death is unknown.
