Tom Hardy lent Prince Harry his 'Mad Max' suit for an evening with Meghan
Prince Harry didn't always choose the wrong costume.
He revealed in his memoir,
The Substitute
, that one year for Halloween, Tom Hardy lent him the costume he wore when he portrayed Max Rockatansky in
Mad Max: Fury Road
.
It was also his last evening with Meghan Markle before their relationship made headlines.
“I needed help with my costume, so I asked a friend, actor Tom Hardy.
I asked him if I could borrow his
Mad Max
costume .
"The whole costume?"
"Yes, please, mate," he explains in the book.
