the First Lady wanted to make things clear about the Head of State's annual vacation at Fort Brégançon, in the Var.
"He doesn't sleep much, even in summer"
She did not appreciate that some criticize her husband for "taking it easy" in the sun, at the expense of taxpayers.
"It's unthinkable what Emmanuel does in a day. He doesn't sleep much. Even in the summer. It looks like he's in a bathing suit all day because you see him once on a photo, but it's actually only from 6 p.m.! After working all day ... But there's no point in saying it, it's inaudible", assures Brigitte Macron in the columns of the magazine by Sophie Davant.

The First Lady no longer wants to show herself in a swimsuit or go to the beach in Bormes-les-Mimosas.
"When we go swimming, there are the paparazzi. Sometimes it's good to put on a bathing suit. But you can't put on a bathing suit in front of everyone", she explained to the microphone by Marc-Olivier Fogiel in June 2019 on RTL.
