China Weather Network News It is January, and the first snow of this winter in North China, Huanghuai and other places in my country has not yet arrived, and the expectations of the northern friends for snowflakes have been full.

A cold wave will change the weather pattern and start the first large-scale rain and snow this year. Many cities such as Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei are expected to welcome the first snow.

From tomorrow to the weekend (January 11-15), affected by a new wave of strong cold air, most of China will experience significant rain, snow and strong winds to cool down, and the range of rain and snow will cover more than 27 provinces.

China Weather.com has launched a schedule of rain and snow in key cities to see when the first snow will arrive at your home.

From the 11th, a new round of strong cold air will officially debut, affecting most parts of our country.

According to Shi Yan, a meteorological analyst at China Weather Network, this round of cold air is stronger and moving slower. In the process of moving eastward and southward, it will also combine with the strengthened warm and humid air flow, resulting in rain and snow in the central and eastern regions of my country. The standby time is longer, and the scope of influence covers more than 27 provinces. The 12th to 15th will be the core period of rain and snow.

The Central Meteorological Observatory has issued a blue cold wave warning at 18:00 on the 10th, reminding the public to guard against the adverse effects of rain and snow and severe cooling.

Judging from the schedule of rain and snow in key cities launched by China Weather Network, on the 12th, before the main body of cold air arrived, the severe reversal of cold and warm in North China, Huanghuai and other places had not yet begun, and the precipitation form was dominated by rain. Beijing, Tianjin , Shijiazhuang, Jinan and other places will usher in light rain first.

Shi Yan introduced that this year's "Two Ninth", most of my country's regions were obviously warmer, and the "March Ninth" is still starting with a warmer climate.

Due to the high basic temperature in the early stage, rain can still be seen in the north during the "March 9" season. This kind of winter rain in the twelfth lunar month of winter is relatively rare.

On the 13th, the fierce confrontation between cold and warm air will officially begin. As the cold air approaches further at night, the precipitation patterns in Northeast and North China will change. Beijing, Tianjin, Shijiazhuang, Jinan and Taiyuan are all expected to usher in early snow this winter.

Shi Yan introduced that Beijing will start to change the phase of rain and snow in the evening of the 13th, and gradually turn into pure snow after nightfall. In the morning of the 14th, people may see white when they open the doors and windows.

The 14th will be the day with the largest snowfall in my country during this process. Places with mixed rain and snow such as southern Shaanxi, most of Henan, and western Shandong will gradually turn into pure snow, and Xi'an, Zhengzhou and other places will join the ranks of snowfall.

At the same time, the snow line will continue to press southward. As the temperature drops in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River, snowflakes may also be seen in some high-altitude places.

On the 15th, the area affected by rain and snow will advance to the southernmost point of this process, and friends in Zhejiang, Hunan, Chongqing, Sichuan, and Guizhou will all have the opportunity to see snowflakes.

The phases of precipitation in these places are complex and require close attention.

Generally speaking, during this round of rain and snow, there will be snowflakes falling in many places in North China, Huanghuai and even the Yangtze River Basin, including Inner Mongolia, Shaanxi, Shanxi, Hebei, Henan, Shandong, Hubei, Hunan, Guizhou, Anhui, Jiangsu and other places Although it is snowing, the precipitation phase is complicated, and many places will experience the transition of rain and snow.

The precipitation in the central and southern parts of the south of the Yangtze River and South China is dominated by rain, accompanied by strong convective weather.

This is because the strength of the cold air weakens as it goes southward, warm and humid air prevails, and the base temperature is high, which eventually leads to rain as the main form of precipitation.

From the 11th to the 15th, most of the above-mentioned areas experienced light to moderate rain, local heavy rain, and some areas were accompanied by thunder and lightning weather.

China Weather Network reminds that the cold air is strong this time, and the large-scale rain and snow process in my country will continue until the weekend. The roads are slippery in snowy days, and vehicles are prone to sideslips and tail flicks. During driving, it is necessary to maintain 2 to 3 times the usual Keep the distance between vehicles and brakes to avoid sudden braking, and beware of traffic accidents.

In addition, it is currently during the Spring Festival travel season. Passengers with travel plans need to pay attention to flight and railway passenger transport information and arrange their itineraries reasonably.
