The first auction of cattle was held at the livestock market in Yurihonjo City, Akita Prefecture, and the average price was significantly lower than usual due to the impact of soaring feed prices.

I pray that the price will be stable," he said.

After that, the first auction was held, and when the calves entered the venue, buyers were bidding down one after another, looking at the size and meat.

The average price per animal purchased was 606,000 yen, about 90,000 yen lower than the average year. .

A livestock farmer in Akita City, who purchased the calf, said, "Since the price of feed is rising, the purchasing side must also reduce costs. We want to raise the cows as high quality as possible."
