The New Year always brings many "good resolutions" in its wake.

These pious wishes, pronounced on December 31 or, head in the bucket, on January 1, are however rarely respected.

Rare are those who reach 31 the following year, proud of having established a new habit. 

According to a study by Qapa, 87% of people questioned failed to keep any of their good resolutions.

While ordinary mortals fail the 365-day habit change contest each year, there are still many of us who draw up a list of things to change in our lives or our bodies every year.

A 4,000 year old tradition that still continues today.
