As a native of Harbin, I have been exposed to the art of ice lanterns since I was about 10 years old. I personally like things like architecture, and the combination of ice and snow creates such a wonderful thing as (architecture) ice lanterns.

This year coincides with the 60th anniversary of Harbin Ice Lantern. I also saw the step-by-step progress of Harbin ice and snow culture from the cultural exhibition, making the ice lantern culture more refined.

[Explanation] It is understood that Zhaolin Park is the birthplace of Chinese ice lantern art. In 1963, the Harbin Ice Lantern Art Fair was born. It has been successfully held for 49 sessions so far, witnessing the development and changes of Harbin ice lantern art in the past 60 years.

Over the past 60 years, Harbin's local hometown culture has undergone great changes. At first our (ice lantern) originated from the festival of lanterns on the fifteenth day of the first lunar month. On the basis of making lanterns, it has gradually developed into a hometown art, which is now called ice and snow culture.

I actually came from Shanghai, mainly because I learned that Harbin is the birthplace of this ice lantern, so I wanted to experience our ice lantern culture.

I have just seen many previous ice lanterns in our cultural exhibition hall. I think they are still very shocking about the theme of each session and what is better displayed.

And when I was watching this display, I learned that the rich ice lantern exhibits we used to have are actually open to our citizens for free. I think this is actually a very good inheritance of our Harbin culture.
