Emirati astronauts Hazza Al Mansouri and Sultan Al Neyadi met a group of children interested in space science and exploration at the Museum of the Future.

The two astronauts interacted with students interested in space sciences during their hosting at the Museum of the Future, especially on the fifth floor of the museum, which includes an exhibition of the orbital space station (Hope), within the framework of the museum's role in promoting science and knowledge, especially among the new generation.

Al Mansouri and Al Neyadi reviewed their experiences with the students, and discussed the future of space exploration and the opportunities it provides to humanity.

Majid Al Mansouri, Deputy Executive Director of the Museum of the Future, said: “We are pleased to welcome the two astronauts, who are considered among the most inspiring figures in the Arab world.

Since the UAE launched the astronaut program, interest in this sector and in STEM subjects has increased among Arab youth.

He added, "The Museum of the Future is proud to play a major and vital role in encouraging and enabling the next generation of young people to realize their dreams and lead important steps in anticipating the future and exploring space and its horizons."

Sultan Al Neyadi was one of two people selected from more than 4,000 candidates to become the first Emirati astronauts.

On the path taken by Hazza Al Mansouri, Al Neyadi completed the UAE Astronaut Program at the Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Center and completed all training and preparations for the mission.

During the coming period, the flight that carries the Neyadi to the International Space Station is scheduled to embark on a long journey to contribute to knowledge that benefits humanity by conducting experiments on board the station.
