Around 9:30 am on the 8th, a neighbor called 110 at a house in Sakuragaoka, Itami City, Hyogo Prefecture, saying, ``I can see the flames rising.''



Firefighters extinguished the fire and the fire was extinguished after about 4 hours, but about 60 square meters of a two-story wooden house was burned, and one person was found dead on the first floor.

Police say the body appears to be that of a man.



This house is home to a couple in their 80s and a son in his 50s, and after the fire, they have not been able to contact each other.
