The Foo Fighters are back!

Despite the shock and pain caused by the tragic disappearance of Taylor Hawkins last spring, Dave Grohl and his friends have decided to return to service shortly.

“As we say goodbye to the most tragic and difficult year our group has seen, we remember how grateful we are to the people we love and cherish the most and to those who are no longer with us,” the group wrote in a statement posted on Twitter.

For soon

“The Foo Fighters formed twenty-seven years ago to represent the healing power of music and to show that life goes on,” they continued.

“And over the past twenty-seven years, our fans have built a global community and support system that has helped us through the darkest times together.

A place to share our joy and our pain, our hopes and our fears, and come together to sing about life through music.

Without Taylor, we could never have become the group that we are, and without him we know that it is a different group that will move forward”, can we still read in this announcement.

“We also know how much you, the fans, meant to Taylor and how much he meant to you.

And we know that when we meet again - and we will soon - his spirit will be with us every night.

That's good news!
