Before the start of the NHK Taiga drama "Dosuru Ieyasu" on the 8th, a wrapping train featuring the figure of Ieyasu played by Jun Matsumoto appeared on the Tenryu Hamanako Railway, which runs in the western part of Shizuoka Prefecture. A departure ceremony was held in the city.

More than 150 people, including related parties and general participants, attended the departure ceremony held at the depot near Tenryu Futamata Station in Tenryu Ward, Hamamatsu City.

At the beginning, Tenryu Hamanako Railway President Yoshimasa Matsui said, "Let's use the drama as a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to revitalize the region."

Then, when the garage door opened, a wrapping train appeared, and cheers rose from the attendees.

On both sides of the train, Ieyasu, played by Jun Matsumoto in the Taiga drama Dosuru Ieyasu, is depicted wearing a blue costume and taking a strong step forward.

Illustrations related to Ieyasu, submitted by local children, are also introduced inside the vehicle and the head mark on the front of the vehicle.

The train entered Tenryu Futamata Station, where a large number of people were waiting, and was greeted with cheers and applause.

On the 7th, it will make a temporary round trip between Nishi-Kashima Station in Tenryu Ward, and from the 8th, it will operate normally between Kakegawa Station and Shinjohara Station in Kosai City.

A family visiting from Kanagawa Prefecture said, "Mr. Matsumoto's appearance in Ieyasu was cool. I haven't seen the Taiga drama so far, but I'm looking forward to it this time."
