There will be many remedial sessions for sorcerer's apprentices.

During the last All Saints holidays, a school of witchcraft inspired by the world of Harry Potter had opened its doors at the Château du Rocher-Portail in Saint-Brice-en-Coglès, between Rennes and Saint-Malo.

A successful first with 13,000 visitors who were introduced to magic for two weeks and took part in the banquet with their teachers in this sumptuous castle from the end of the 16th century, transformed into a Breton Hogwarts.

The public being at the rendezvous, the owners of the places announce this Friday that they will continue the adventure this year and put back in scene the houses Busarde, Fauvedor, Cerfdelune and Boucfleche.

A treasure hunt in the castle cellars

Definitively transformed into a "new school of wizards", the Château du Rocher-Portail will resume service this summer with "The Milendall competition" scheduled from July 7 to 22.

It will take place "in the afternoon in the gardens and labyrinths of the castle, while in the evening the teachers will decide between the competitors by different challenges around magic, cartomancy and mentalism", detail the organizers.

For the All Saints holidays, the cellars of the castle, open for the first time to visitors, will serve as the setting for a "treasure crypt".

Finally, the Breton castle will take part in the magic of Christmas with, in particular, a ball for the guests.

Ticketing for the first event this summer is already open.
