Since January 1, telephone canvassing agencies no longer have the right to call individuals or send them an SMS from a random number, in particular those beginning with 06 or 07. The French Telecoms Regulatory Authority ( Arcep) has implemented a new numbering plan, with which call centers are required to comply.
In mainland France, direct sellers must now use a number 0162, 0163, 0270, 0271, 0377, 0378, 0424, 0425, 0568, 0569, 0948, 0949. The numbers dedicated to overseas territories are 09475 in Guadeloupe, at Saint-Martin and Saint-Barthélemy, 09476 in Guyana, 09477 in Martinique, 09478 and 09479 in Réunion and Mayotte.
In addition, canvassing centers will have to respect specific time slots from March 1, being able to contact individuals only from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. then from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m., with the prohibition to call the same number more four times a month.
In the event of canvassing that does not comply with these rules, you can report it on the signal.conso.gouv.fr website or on Bloctel, or by sending an SMS to 3370 with the telephone number concerned and the mention "Spam voice". .
