When the Niigata Coast Guard and others conducted a search, two men were found floating inside the harbor at around 11:00 pm, about three hours after the report. was confirmed dead.



According to the Japan Coast Guard, the dead were two men in their 30s living in Murakami City and Shibata City, Niigata Prefecture, both wearing life jackets.



In the area around the site, the height of the waves was about 3 to 4 meters on the night of the 3rd, and the seawater temperature was about 9 degrees, so the Japan Coast Guard and others are investigating the situation at that time.
