On the afternoon of the 4th, the arrival lobby of the international flight at Narita Airport was crowded with families and people who had returned from overseas and had completed immigration procedures.



According to the Narita Airport Company, the return rush will peak on the 4th, and it is expected that more than 25,000 people will enter the country in one day.



In the two weeks from the 23rd to the 5th of last month, more than 618,000 people entered and departed from Narita Airport, which is expected to be more than 12 times more than the same period a year ago. It is less than half compared to FY2019 before the expansion.



A woman in her 40s who stayed in Hawaii with her family of four said, "It was nice to be able to breathe in the open air of Hawaii. However, the prices of drinks and food were two to three times what they were in Japan, so I was relieved to be back. My 6-year-old son said, "Hawaii was hot and the pool was fun."



A third-year junior high school girl who returned from Cambodia, where her father works, said, "I was able to enjoy my time by going to see soccer with my father and meeting people I knew. I learned a lot of things, such as how it works," he said.
