The French mercenary Maxim Bronshen went to fight in Ukraine on the side of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, lost his leg after blowing up a mine in the forest, and now complains about the French embassy in Kyiv - it did not give him any help after being wounded.

He says that no one needs him now.

“France sends a lot of equipment and money to Ukraine,” he said angrily, “but does not help French citizens who need help on the spot.”

Here, the key to understanding the motives of the French embassy is this last word from the quote of the mercenary "on the spot."

Apparently, official France did not consider that its citizen Maxim Bronshen, who lost his leg in the fighting on the territory of Ukraine, was in his place.

Yes, France sends both weapons and money to Ukraine, but it, like other European countries and NATO, is doing everything to ensure that its hands remain formally clean.

But as soon as a French mercenary born in French Alsace appears on the Ukrainian horizon, France, as it were, dips its fingertips into the blood of innocent people.

That is why the French embassy in Kyiv did not begin to meet the mercenary Bronshin as a hero.

He will not be greeted as a hero when he returns to France itself - according to local law, he faces a prison term and a heavy fine for mercenarism.

"Civilized" Europe, for example, the same Britain, officially does not recommend its citizens to take part in the military conflict in Ukraine, and here, like France, it simply takes care of the visible cleanliness of its hands, unlike Poland, whose authorities openly urge the Poles to go to Ukraine to fight.

The Poles give in to calls, but quickly leave Ukraine, provided, of course, that they manage to survive in the dense fire of Russian artillery, which carries a clear message: the chances of making money by killing are much less than the chances of dying or maiming.

And yet, by the end of last autumn, more than 1,200 Polish mercenaries had died in Ukraine.

And Bronchin is just a classic victim of European propaganda.

I believed that Europe is guided by concern for Ukraine.

And if she cares so much about Ukraine, he probably reasoned, she will take care of her citizens who support Ukraine even more so.

But he was wrong.

I didn’t see that behind the concern for Ukraine, Europe hides only one big and main desire - to topple huge Russia and divide its resources among themselves.

And now no one needs him.

Maybe there will be people who can sympathize with the duped French mercenary who was left without a leg.

But… let him say thanks that, unlike many other foreign mercenaries, he survived.

And let him know his place.

However, the French embassy in Kyiv already quite eloquently pointed him out to him.
