200,000 visitors to the Mother of the Nation Festival

The sixth edition of the Mother of the Nation Festival, which concluded its activities earlier this month, succeeded in attracting more than 200,000 visitors of all ages who enjoyed the musical and singing arts, new art installations, shopping, fun family activities and games, in addition to watching fireworks displays that were organized on the Corniche in Abu Dhabi to celebrate By 2023. The festival was launched on the ninth of last December and was extended until the first of this year, and provided its visitors with distinctive experiences across the six areas: the world of creativity, the suspense area, the amusement park, the tasting orchard, the performance arena, and the shopping district.

Saleh Mohammed Al-Jaziri, Director General of Tourism at the Department of Culture and Tourism - Abu Dhabi, said: “The Mother of the Nation Festival evolves and innovates every year to meet the changing expectations and desires of festival-goers.

This year, we received an unprecedented number of visitors who came with friends and family to enjoy various immersive shows, arts, activities, and international shopping and dining concepts under one roof.

He added, "Visitors of the festival enjoyed high-end entertainment activities with more than 15 unprecedented experiences worth documenting on the (Instagram) platform from around the world, including the United Kingdom, Italy, the Netherlands and Canada."

The latest edition of the festival presented culinary experiences from around the world and a mixture of flavors and cultures, to suit all tastes.
