"In August 2021, the 'Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall's relocation and re-exhibition project' was approved. According to the plan, the memorial hall will be moved from the original Cangjing Building Pavilion to the current Jialin Building Pavilion." "At that time, it was estimated that after the re-arrangement of the exhibition hall, the exhibition area of the memorial hall would increase from 550 square meters in the original Cangjing Building (only more than 130 pictures and more than 60 cultural relics were exhibited) to 2,700 square meters in the Jialin Building. After the relocation, the site of the memorial hall is Jialin Building, which is located 80 meters east of Boai Square on the central axis of Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum, with a total construction area of 4,500 square meters.
