After saying goodbye to his audience present at the Forest National in Brussels on December 11, Julien Doré addressed all his fans by hanging up the microphone of his Aimée Tour.

An important message that he had to pass on to them now that he is back with his family in the Cévennes, since he will obviously be taking a long break.

The interpreter of

Baie des Anges

has indeed published a video, in which we discover him moved to tears after the last concert of his tour which lasted more than a year and attracted more than 600,000 spectators.

“It's still weird to do all that, to work so much, build so much, for it to always end… It's crazy.

It's as if you imagined the pyramids of Egypt but dismountable.

We do an incredible job and once it's beautiful, at the most beautiful... We dismantle, ”he says backstage, tears in his eyes.

“Return to our family life”

Explaining that he was "surprised every time" by the stoppage of the spotlights, he expressed his nostalgia for this year on the roads, especially since "this tour was still way above everything I did".

And to conclude, as the scene disassembles: “Damn, I don't like those moments!

The following sequence, from this mini-documentary directed by Brice VDH and entitled

Back Høme

, takes place at his home.

We discover him with his son, in his house in the Cévennes, then with his dogs, Simone and Jean-Marc in nature.

It is to the latter that he addresses his deepest thoughts, while he is seated at the foot of the castle “at the origin of the album, where we shot the first images”.

He therefore announces to his dogs that they will "now spend a lot of time together", because "no more glitter, no more show business, back to our family life".

No early retirement

That the fans of the artist are reassured, this return to the fold does not mean an early retirement.

“Now we have our whole life ahead of us.

We will have to rewrite songs.

You will have to eat kibble.

That's it... We still have projects in common, ”explains Julien Doré to Simone, very attentive.

As for Jean-Marc, he seems much more interested in knowing how he could bring back the large stone he found than in the philosophical reflections of his human.
