Since many medical institutions are closed during the year-end and New Year holidays, Miyagi Prefecture has set up a drive-through temporary fever outpatient clinic in Sendai City from the 30th, where tests and consultations can be received while in the car.

The drive-through fever outpatient clinic has been set up in Sendai City by Miyagi Prefecture in collaboration with the Sendai City Medical Association, etc., as the number of new coronavirus infections is increasing during the year-end and New Year holidays.

In addition to being able to take tests for the new corona and influenza at the same time, doctors also conducted examinations, and on the first day, the 30th, people who had made reservations in advance visited one after another.

Temporary fever outpatient clinics are for people aged 12 and over who have mild symptoms, and can be seen by people who live in Miyagi Prefecture, as well as those who have visited their hometowns or traveled.

Reservations are required on the Miyagi Prefecture website and will be open every day from noon to 3:00 pm on the 3rd of next month, but the 31st is already fully booked.

Kenjiro Ando, president of the Sendai City Medical Association, said, ``There are only a limited number of medical institutions that provide medical care during the year-end and New Year holidays. I want you to use this fever outpatient clinic."
