Zhu Zheng, who was born on the second day of the eighth lunar month in 1900, was affectionately called Chengdu's "most awesome post-00s" by netizens.

Witnessing the vicissitudes of China for more than a hundred years, she has lived under the same roof for six generations, and is currently the longest-lived centenarian among the centenarians registered by the Chengdu Office of Aging.

"It was discovered at five or six o'clock this morning. No one expected it, because Zuzu was in good spirits yesterday." Zhu Zheng's relatives told a reporter from Chinanews.com that Zhu Zhengshi had not eaten much a few days before his death.

"Zuzu (Zhu Zheng's) was not infected with the new crown, and walked peacefully, as if asleep." (End)
