On New Year's Eve 2000, in a house in Setagaya Ward, Tokyo, a family of four: office worker Mikio Miyazawa (44), wife Yasuko (41), eldest daughter Nina-chan (8), and eldest son Rei-kun (6). was found murdered.



The four people are believed to have been involved in the incident late at night on the 30th of the previous day.



It has been 22 years since the incident remained unsolved, and on the 30th, the day of his death, Setsuko (91), the mother of the deceased Mikio Miyazawa, visited the cemetery in Niiza City, Saitama Prefecture, where the four graves are located.



Setsuko-san held her flowers and incense sticks, then she put her hands together and bowed her head deeply toward the grave.



After visiting the grave, Setsuko told reporters, "I'm sorry that the four of us couldn't solve the case. I don't think we've made a single step toward solving the case even after 22 years. Age. I'm old, so I just want to know why the four of us got involved in the incident while I was still in good health."
