The reporter learned from the Hubei Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism that the Qujialing Site in Jingmen City, Hubei Province and the Longwan Site in Qianjiang City have been rated as National Archaeological Site Parks, the Tomb of Mingchu King in Wuhan City, the Xuetang Liangzi Site in Shiyan City (from Yun County), and the Suizhou Archaeological Site Park. The Leigudun Ancient Tombs Group was approved for project approval.

So far, the total number of Hubei National Archaeological Site Parks and the number of projects and evaluations have ranked third in the country.

  Since the start of the first batch of national archaeological site park assessment work in 2010, the State Administration of Cultural Heritage has assessed a total of 55 national archaeological site parks in four batches, and approved 80 projects. There are 4 sites in Hubei Xiongjiazuo, Panlongcheng, Qujialing and Longwan. It has been rated as a national archaeological site park successively. A total of 7 sites including Chuji South City, Tonglu Mountain, Shijiahe, Sujialong, Ming Chu King Tomb, Xuetang Liangzi, and Leigudun have been approved for project approval.

  Hubei has a long history and rich cultural relics.

Seven major ruins including Panlong City and Shijiahe were included in the Special Plan for the Protection and Utilization of Major Heritage Sites during the "14th Five-Year Plan" issued by the State Administration of Cultural Heritage. The Jingzhou area of ​​the major ruins is one of the six major areas in the country.

In recent years, Hubei has implemented the inheritance and development project of the Jingchu Great Site to promote the protection of the large site in the province and the construction of a national archaeological site park.

  Focusing on major issues such as "the progress of civilization in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River" and "exploring the origin of Chinese civilization", Hubei's active archaeological work has continued to deepen and has continuously made major new discoveries; the protection of large sites, environmental improvement, and display and utilization projects have been steadily implemented, effectively improving the preservation of cultural relics ; Increase investment in the construction of tourist service facilities in various places where the large ruins are located, and invest nearly 1 billion yuan to build 4 open ruins museums (exhibition halls) and 4 museums under construction.

  The Hubei Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism stated that it will continue to promote the protection and utilization of large sites, actively integrate into the construction of the Yangtze River National Cultural Park, and build, manage and use the National Archaeological Site Park well.
