Risk of gastrointestinal disorders

The recalled steaks, in which traces of salmonella were discovered, were sold between December 22 and December 28 at Leclerc.

Their expiry date (DLC) is 22/12/2022.

They must be destroyed or can be returned to the store for reimbursement until January 31, 2023, the end date of the recall procedure.

As a reminder, salmonella can cause gastrointestinal disorders, diarrhea, vomiting and fever in humans.

The incubation time after ingestion varies between 6 and 72 hours.

It is recommended to consult a doctor in case of consumption of a suspect food.
