In the judgment, the court writes that the information has included serious claims relating to links to terrorism and that the journalist has been singled out by both name and picture.
"The publication must also be seen against the background of his professional role and the very inadequate control measures.
With regard to what has just been said, the act must be assessed as gross slander".
The journalist has been working since 2020 as a researcher and reporter at Dagens Nyheter.
