On the morning of the 29th, there was a fire at an aluminum recycling plant in Kameyama City, Mie Prefecture, and six workers were injured and were being treated at a hospital.

Shortly after 11:00 a.m. on the 29th, a worker reported to the fire department that a dust explosion had occurred at the Kameyama Factory of Taiki Aluminum Kogyosho in Kawasaki-cho, Kameyama City.



The fire was extinguished after about three hours, but according to the police, six people who were working in the factory were injured and taken to the hospital for treatment.



The extent of the injuries is not known, but there is information that some people have burns all over their bodies.



The factory was not in operation on the 29th, but police and fire departments are investigating the detailed cause of the fire, as maintenance and cleaning work was being done.



On the other hand, according to the police, at this factory, a burner fire ignited aluminum dust in another building on the 28th, and about 1,700 square meters burned.
