On the morning of the 29th, there was a fire that burned one house in Ichihara City, Chiba Prefecture, and one person was found dead inside the house.
A couple in their 70s who live in the house have been lost since the fire and police are trying to identify them.
After 7 am on the 29th, in Shimano, Ichihara City, Chiba Prefecture, a resident reported to the fire department that "smoke is coming out of a nearby house."
The fire broke out in a two-story house, and firefighters extinguished it after about three hours.
According to police, one person was found dead on the first floor.
Four people, a couple in their 70s and a couple in their 40s, live in this house, and according to the police, they have lost contact with two couples in their 70s.
Police are investigating the cause of the fire as well as confirming the identity.
